Our Jacob was a long awaited and much loved son, and brother for Aaron. We were so excited about his arrival in January 2012. However, in November 2011 our worlds came crashing down when we discovered that Jacob had died at 31 weeks. He was born on 4th November and we spent a sad, but precious, 24 hours with him in the bereavement suite at the hospital.

Although it was a terribly sad time for us, we were so grateful for the care we were shown from the staff on the delivery suite at The James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough. They were so sensitive to our needs and really helped to put us at ease. We were given as much time as we wanted to spend with our precious baby and our families were also given the opportunity to meet and spend time with Jacob.

We have now decided that the best way to keep Jacob's memory alive, is to fundraise for two causes very close to our hearts.
